For the first time in the Re-imagined Series' history, "Razor" revealed that Colonials have developed tablet personal computers (known as "Tablet PCs").

In "Razor", when Lieutenant Kendra Shaw wanders through the corridors of battlestar Pegasus, she encounters Gina Inviere (a Number Six copy). Using her tablet PC, Inviere shows Shaw how to find Pegasus's CIC.

This same prop is used by Kara Thrace on the Demetrius in "The Ties That Bind" as she determines the next course for the ship to take in the search for Earth.

Origin

The computer is an Asus R1F-series tablet computer. Telltale signs include the button layout underneath the screen and the biometric reader in "Razor".

Its appearance in "The Ties That Bind" can be identified by its unique LCD button-clasp.

Notes

• Both "Razor" and "The Ties That Bind" are technically part of Season 4, despite "Razor" being set in both the Miniseries's and Season 2's time period.
